Financial Frustration

I have been getting a little frustrated lately trying to make saving a priority, planning for Christmas, and trying to control my immature nature to spend!  The only thing that I am currently being successful with is planning for Christmas!   I have been getting frustrated that I am not doing a better job and setting a better example for my children.  Then, today, I was given a gift of a tiny reprieve!  Money Saving Mom posted a story about saving when you can barely pay your bills!  This took me back to the time before we took Financial Peace University and we were getting close to the point of feeling like we would have to pay for groceries by putting them on a credit card!

Our car tags came in the mail today, and I was granted a calming sensation as I placed the sticker on the license plate.  Not too long ago, I remember how stressful October was for us, because we did not budget for car registration and tags.  We would always have to scramble the entire month of October to get enough to pay this bill!  Although I am frustrated because we are not where I want to be financially, I did enjoy taking the time today to remember how far we’ve come!  It has given me more hope that every step, albeit however tiny and insignificant it may seem at the time, is a tiny step in the right direction!

What financial frustrations are you dealing with right now?

I posted this link above as well, but Dave Ramsey also put out an article on how important October is for our financial futures!
