Dish Wands in the Shower

I keep a dish wand in each of my showers.

Convenience

I have learned that I like to clean the shower/bathtub when I am taking a shower.  I feel like I get it cleaner and it also doesn’t seem to be as big of an ordeal.  Kind of like “killing two birds with one stone.”

I have learned, that I clean my tub/shower much more often if I just keep a dish wand and cleaner in the tub/shower.  That way, when I’m taking a shower and notice a spot that needs attention, I have no excuse and I don’t forget if I take care of it right away.

I oftentimes think about our schedule while I’m taking a shower and there have been many times when I will remember we have company coming over and that is really the only time that I will be able to squeeze in a tub/shower cleaning.

Things to Consider

  • I keep Soft Scrub cleaner in my shower, however, I usually use a milder cleaner (with water) that I just fill the handle with in the kids’ bathroom.  That way I don’t have to worry as much if the kids get a hold of the scrub brush during their bath.
  • My kids really don’t touch the scrub brushes all that much.  Sometimes they ask to clean with it and I let them!
  • My mother doesn’t think that something is clean until all the cleaning supplies are put away, however, I’ve had to retrain my brain, because at this season of life, that just doesn’t work for me.

Thank you, definitely takes away the excuse of, “I’m thinking about it, but I don’t have the stuff to do it with!”
