Thank You

Do you have your children write thank you notes?

I think that this is very important.  I think that it makes the child sit down and really think about the gift they were given.

I have my children write thank you notes for presents they receive for their birthday and Christmas,  sometimes, I just don’t send them out as quickly as I should.

Make It Easy

I don’t think that the thank you notes need to be elaborate.  It’s the thought of gratitude that counts!  🙂  I use the above stamps from Stampin’ Up! It would also be very easy to make your own: on the computer or just using regular paper (make sure to make a copy of the paper before having your children complete them).

Before the kids are old enough to write, I write them and have them color them. When they know how to write their names, they write their name and I fill in the rest.  And so on…

I like to make the thank you notes into postcards, that way we save on postage!
