I Can Teach My Child

Challenge

Week 1: Read the blog post and try to “catch” your child being good and compliment them, sing a silly song about it, or cheer for them. Try to do this 2-3 times each day this week!!

Week 2: Make sure your child overhears you saying something wonderful about them to someone else!

Week 3: Get on your child’s eye level, look into their eyes and point out their positive character traits.

Week 4: Hug your child and whisper a prayer of thanksgiving to God for your child.

Week 5: Read 10 Questions to Ask Your Child and ask your child some of the suggested questions that are age appropriate.  Please do this when you can give your child your full attention.  Encourage/model your child to have a conversation with you.
