How’s everyone doing on their New Year’s Resolutions?
Do you even remember what they are?
I’m calling a do over. I’ve never really liked New Year’s Resolutions. Actually, no that’s not true, the resolutions I don’t mind, it’s the timing I have issues with. Here in the Mid-West, January can be one of the worst months of the year. It’s cold, it’s dark, it’s cold, it’s dreary, did I mention that it’s cold? Motivation is not my friend when it’s cold, dark and dreary. It’s almost impossible for me to peel myself out of my nice, warm, comfy bed when it still looks like it’s midnight outside!
I’ve known for a while that I really like getting up early in time to do my Bible study, work out and get breakfast started before the pitter-patter of little feet start to fill the house. However, in January, I just can’t seem to muster up the strength!
So, now that it’s getting warmer and sunnier I’m going to hit restart and try again. I’ve had this post in mind for a while on how I think I’m going to start my New Year’s Resolutions in June or August. For me, being a mom to so many littles, this makes more sense. Our schedule drastically changes in June and August. I’m going to try to start new habits now, and hopefully come January when I’m facing the cold, dark and dreary, I’ll have the habits to support me! So who else is with me?
- Almost three weeks ago, I started doing the Bikini Body Mommy 4.0 Challenge. I’ve been doing well. I only got behind a couple of days, so I was able to make it up! I’m feeling better and starting to see a few little changes as well!
- Last week I started the Petro Chemical Protocol using JuvaCleanse and Citrus Fresh. I’ve had great success with this so far!
- Now I really need to start getting up early and get everything settled before the craziness of five children emerge from their slumber. Moneysavingmom to the rescue! I’ve been able to take a sneak peek and I’m really liking what I’m seeing! So come join me and we can transform together!
