Superbowl Sandwich
We made this for the Superbowl and really liked it!
Ingredients
- French bread loaf
- 3 oz cream cheese
- 2.5 TBS butter
- 3 tsp dried onion
- 3 tsp dried parsley
- 3 tsp poppy seeds
- 12 oz cooked crumbled sausage (found near the lunch meat)
- 20 slices of Canadian Bacon
- 8 oz of Swiss cheese
Directions
- combine cream cheese and butter and blend well
- add dried onion, parsley, poppy seeds and sausage, mix well
- put mixture on bottom half of bread
- put Canadian Bacon and cheese on the top half of the bread
- press top firmly on to the bottom
- wrap in foil
- bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes
- open foil and bake for 10 more minutes to brown the top
Variations
I think the next time I make this, I will try it with Mozzarella cheese or Provolone cheese!
