Best Ever Green Bean Casserole
Here is my mom’s recipe for green bean casserole, she makes just a few changes, but it makes a world of difference.
Ingredients
2 cans of green beans (we do prefer canned over frozen for this recipe)
1 can of cream of chicken soup
a couple of tablespoons of milk
shredded Colby jack cheese
French’s onions
Steps
combine green beans, soup, and a little milk (just to help make stirring easier)
add in a handful of cheese and mix in
put in a greased casserole dish
bake in a preheated oven of 350 degrees for 30 minutes
add a layer of cheese and a layer of onions to the top and bake for 5 more minutes
Suggestions
add bacon! 🙂
make it a meal by adding cubed ham or turkey
