There are so many things out there (like this blog) telling/suggesting to you what to do and how to parent. I often find myself overwhelmed and stressing out about weather or not we are doing it right and if there is a better way. I feel like I am constantly comparing myself to others and often times feeling like I am coming up short. I just want to raise respectful, hard working, God loving, honest, and compassionate human beings. I do not want my children to turn out like so many have: entitled, rude, lazy, and doing what ever it takes to get what they want no matter the cost. Is this too much to ask? I want my children to know that they have blessed my life in more ways than I can even conceive and that I love them no matter what, just because they are who they are. I wish I had the magic equation to guarantee my perfect outcome, but it just simply doesn’t exist. I guess all we can do is pray and do what we think is the best way for us in our specific situation to reach this outcome!
