Menu Plan

In an effort to try and save some money and stock up, I am planning on taking the kids to the public school for breakfast and lunch for the summer.  Around here they have a Federal funded program for feeding kids during the summer.  I used to feel bad using it because I wanted to “save” it for those who really struggle to feed their kids, but then I found out that the program mandates all left overs be thrown away, and I have a really hard time seeing all that food go into the trash!

Dinner:

chicken stir fry

mac & frozen veggies

crispy chicken & frozen veggies

tacos

sandwiches & frozen veggies

Fritata

leftovers

I would love to do sandwiches for dinner. I only ever do them for lunch!

We usually do PB&J & tuna fish for lunch & then BLTs, grilled cheese, hot ham & cheese, and turkey melts for dinner!
