Final Friday

I’m thinking about doing a Final Friday post every month where I review my month.  I’m thinking I’ll review my goals, things that I’m working on around the house, things that went well and things that didn’t go so well.  So here’s the first edition!

Goals

I have started a new “goal” sheet where I have at least one goal for the house, blogging, and other for each day.  I have just started this so I’ll let you know next month how it goes!  With this system I can make specific goals instead of broad goals that are hard to pinpoint.

Things I’ve Been Meaning to Do

Clean out the garage

Organize under kids’ bathroom sink

Turn this into our stockpile closet

Things that Worked Well this Month

Things I’m Working On/Struggling With

Parenting: teaching integrity and being a better role model for my children

Marriage: Speaking my husband’s love language

Homemaking: getting and staying organzied

I’d love to hear more about the socks and underwear organization system. Can you add that to your blogging to-do list? 🙂

Love the goals chart; what a great idea!

Do you like the 7 Solutions for Burned Out Parents? I’ve not heard of it before, but it looks good.

The post for socks & underwear is scheduled for June 16th (maybe sooner)!

Goals chart was inspired by you! (Thanks)

I like it, but I feel like we have already been implementing his strategies. I just started it this week and am almost done with it. I think it’s a good reminder even if you are already implementing his strategies!

Wow Carolynn you have some ambitious goals considering its the first month of summer! I love your idea of writing out your goals for each day. I’m going to try and do this and hang it on my refrigerator next to the meal schedule/plan so I can’t claim to have “lost” it or forgotten what was supposed to be accomplished. It’ll be right there in black and white. Great post.
