I love, love, love these!  We have a set for each child and only did one of the molds really late.  These kits contain a package of plaster that you add water to and make an imprint of your child’s hand for the first five years of their life.  Each canister has all materials, you just need to add the water and use your child’s hand.

At first it is difficult to get a good impression of their hand, most of our children had a tendency to want to grab the plaster when we stuck their hand in it.  We have found that doing this while the kids are in the tub is the best place for us.

We usually have to try several times before we get a keeper.  If you get an impression you don’t like, just tap the tin until the image disappears and try again.  We have always kept the leftover plaster just in case we needed all new if what we were using hardened too much before we got a decent imprint.

I have heard that some people think it’s the easiest to do when their child is sleeping.  We’ve never been brave enough to try it.

So if you’re looking for a great baby gift, pair one of these up with one of my bibs, and you’re set to go!  😉

(I did this review at my own free will, because I love the product.  This company did not contact me or compensate me in any way for my opinion.)
