Blog Party

This is my first time celebrating the Ultimate Blog Party!

My name is Carolynn and I am the mother to four amazing children; ages five, four, two and one!  I am brand new to blogging!  This is my second year of being a stay at home mom, before that I taught preschool for five years!  I have a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood.

I started this blog because I wanted to share resources and tips on things that have made monumental changes in my life!  I also wanted this blog to be a reflection of life; the good, the bad, and the ugly!  I like to share tips as well as when I’m having a bad day (because we all have them)!  I want moms to know that they are not alone and that there is encouragement out there!  The areas that I cover the most on my blog are:

*Parenting and Child Development

*Pregnancy

*Coupons (tips for those starting out)

*Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University

*Teaching activities and resources

*Crafts

I would love for you to take a look around my blog and please leave me a comment or contact me on what you think, how I could be more helpful to you, and/or what you would like to see more of on My Little Bit of Life!

Thanks for celebrating the 2011 Blog Party with me!

We had 3 (at different times) growing up and we got Schatzie when our oldest was 3 months old (not the best idea, but it made for some super cute pictures)! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I so wish I could leave teaching to be a SAHM…although b/c of teaching I call myself the semi-SAHM thanks to holidays & breaks! Haha! I guess that’s second best!

Hope you are having fun at this year’s UBP 2011! I know I am!

When I left teaching I was teaching 3 days a week with 3 kids in daycare. I was working at a Catholic school and when my husband got a raise, his raise was a tiny bit less than I was making when I was teaching, so from a money stand point, we actually had more money by me not working! I had been praying for a while because I was feeling so torn working, but wasn’t ready to stop yet!

Stopping from the UBP! I taught school too.

Hi Carolynn!
It’s so great to find and meet you via the #UBP11. I so appreciate that you also stopped by my place at Live Laugh Love and Bloggings.

4 little ones – WOW! I remember when *LOL* it’s such a magical time *sigh*

I do hope that this finds you and yours well. Pssst I love the songs you mentioned at my place — such amazing “Live Moment” songs 🙂

Stopping by from the UBP. I blog about similar things, my take on our life, including both the good and bad. I love to remember the little things that I know I won’t in years to come.

Thanks, I know, what a unique experience! I’ve found some new favorite blogs, but still very overwhelmed at all the blogs that I still want to visit! I think it will take me a few months to visit all of them! 🙂
