markers

felt flame

 

Procedure

  1. listen to two songs from the
  2. read
  3. make a list (T-Chart) comparing Good Fire (camp fires, stoves, ovens, candles, fireplaces, etc) and Bad Fire (house, forest, matches, clothes, etc)
  4. make sure to emphasize that even “Good Fire” can hurt you
  5. review what to do during a fire
  6. review Stop, Drop, and Roll
  7. review how to handle matches
  8. continue to randomly put the felt flame on the children and have them practice Stop, Drop, and Roll
