Good Enough

Quite a few weeks ago, my four year old wanted to “cook.”  The baby was not feeling well and I really didn’t feel like “cooking” either.  He was so adamant that he got out a cookie sheet and a big mixing bowl.  So, I put the ingredients to his lunch on the cookie sheet and told him he could “cook” his own lunch.  He really had baking in mind and told me that it wasn’t right unless he had some chocolate chips.  He won, so that day he had a PB and chocolate chip sandwich!  He was proud of himself for “cooking” and I was one happy mama that he was happy and fed!  Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches!
