What I Like About the Book

  • the pictures in this book are amazing
  • I liked when they explained/showed the different cuts of meat and where they come from (p. 31)
  • seasonal produce (p.33)
  • menus for special occasions (pgs. 436-441)
  • even is you aren’t interested in Paleo, this cookbook is beautifully done with some awesome, healthy recipes!

Recipes We’ve Tried

Egg Muffins (different versions of these have become a staple in our house)

Cinnamon Steak Skewers (not fond of the steak I tried this with, I just bought whatever was on sale, I’d like to try it again with a type of steak I know we like!)

Herbed Chicken Skewers (very good and easy, I think the next time, I’ll just leave the skewers out)

Balsamic and Rosemary Chicken (my husband and I both really liked this!)

Spaghetti Squash (this is how it should be cooked, I tried other ways to cook this, and it never gets completely done, they should be soft, not crunchy!)

Infamous Bacon Cookies (yes, these are delicious, even if they are a bit overcooked!) 😉

OK, that would actually be the entire book, but I’ll pair down the list a bit!  😉
