I am a Purex Insider and received a free sample of Purex Complete Crystals Softener as well as a coupon for a free bottle.  Now, I’d like to point out that I hardly ever use fabric softener!  (I usually only use it when I didn’t get to the clothes in the washer fast enough and they’ve started to smell, did I really just say that?!) So I really don’t have much to compare to (except  sometimes I did notice that regular fabric softener dryer sheets sometimes leave a residue on the clothes).  I have not noticed this residue when I’ve used the crystals!  When I first went out looking to redeem my free coupon, I had a hard time finding the product.  I had to go to a couple of different stores in order to find it!  The sample I was given was the blue Spring scent and when I redeemed my coupon, I got the purple Lavender scent.  Now I love the scent of Lavender, but I’d have to say that I noticed the spring scent seemed to last longer on our sheets than the lavender did, but they both smelled good!  I LOVE how this fabric softener makes my laundry room smell and that’s saying something because our diaper pail is in our laundry room!  I did not really notice if the scent lasts longer with the crystals than compared to other softeners!  The crystals are not oil based so they won’t wear down or discolor fabric.  Want more info?
