My husband makes fun of me because I make up songs to sing to the kids all the time! I don’t have a good singing voice at all, but the kids don’t care and if you don’t sing to backup music, they can’t tell! 🙂

When they were babies I would sing (to the tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb):
Mama loves her baby boy/girl
baby boy/girl, baby boy/girl
Mama loves her baby boy/girl
Yes I do!

Adam (child’s name) is so cute and sweet
Cute and sweet; cute and sweet
Adam (child’s name) is so cute and sweet
He is a very good boy!

Now, when they do something really good, I sing: Yea for Adam (child’s name) he’s a: super big boy/super good boy/big helper
It is really cute because now my kids will sing this song to each other!
