handmade Christmas books (just a book with a Christmas cover and three blank pages)

 

Instructions

  1. read by Gail Gibbons
  2. talk about Christmas traditions: have each child tell you their favorite tradition, draw a picture of it on the board and write a word label next to it
  3. after every child has shared their favorite tradition, have them go back to their seats and get out their crayons
  4. pass out the books and have the children write their name on the front
  5. have the children draw one picture and write the word on each page of their book
